On Saturday, August 26th, Cleveland Public Art, Cleveland-Area Scion Dealerships, and MOCA Cleveland presented the fifth annual City Xpressionz Urban Art Festival in Ohio City’s Market Square Park. Over 4,000 people came out to enjoy and participate in this neighborhood event.

Nine hours of live entertainment was hosted by Cleveland’s own Q-Nice, who performed MC duties throughout the day. Musical performances included Santina, DJ Onit, Ceven, Besto, NYC’s Forrest Getemgump, and an MC battle. Bboy/bgirl battles were hosted by Dre Live from Akron’s Illstyle Rockers.

Five aerosol artist teams competed for a $500 prize. The crowd voted for its favorite aerosol production and selected the "Alien" piece pictured. Some of the productions will be on display in the May Co. storefront windows as part of Exhibit Cleveland.
